Have I mentioned before that sealing grout is no fun? Even in small doses it isn’t fun! The good news is I have finished sealing the grout in the living room. :) I finished over the weekend, so over the long weekend I can go and buy my furniture!!! Hooray! I still am getting the sofa/chair I picked out forever ago...unless I change my mind when I get to the store. Anyway, now all I have to do is finish the kitchen and do a second coat in the dining room. So, that should just be another few days. Then, I guess the really fun part is maintaining the sealant...not sure how often it needs to be re-done...but I guess I'll find out!
In other news, Minny has figured out how to get on top of the fridge! I’m sure Holly is just ecstatic about that little tidbit. Since, I’m pretty sure the reason Holly went up there in the first place was to escape from the kitten… Anyway, the other day when I got home from work there was this little black face staring at me from on top of the refrigerator and it wasn’t Holly’s. This was not a fluke either, since she has been up there more than once since that day. Apparently, both of them like to channel their inner panthers and keep a close eye on things whilst I am away… :) Gotta love them!
