It's been a long time since I posted any house pictures!
Before: Taken before Christmas, no roof decking and no windows...

After: Taken New Year's Day, complete with windows (the one on the far right is already broken!) and shingles waiting to be attached to the roof
The next time I drove by (not to walk around) there were workers installing the shingles on the roof. Tomorrow, I get to go and have my framing walk-through. That should be fun! The foreman (?) told me to bring some boric acid to put in the walls before they install the insulation and sheet rock. DUH! What a great idea, since it will be out of reach by pets/kids and will be exactly where it is needed for pest control. Why didn't I think of that?!
Here's a view into the guest bedroom (just for you MoM and Dad)...before the windows were installed. The windows in this room are the ones above the garage. :)

Am I reading correctly that you posted this at 4:18am?!?! Egad!
It's so amazing to watch the house appear out of nothing, and so quickly! I like that they told you the boric acid thing, because that shows that they're thinking about more than lunchtime, or their next paycheck. Sounds like you've got a good team there. Is your sister's house coming along at the same pace?
SWEET!!! It will be done in NO TIME. Don't stress if it starts looking small though. I swear when we built ours it looked huge then tiny back and forth about 3 times.
This is SO exciting. Seriously it is on my list of things I want most...my very own place to hang my hat!!
