I did schedule my exam - August 29th. I actually could have scheduled for August 30, but why should I miss a day of weekend when I can miss a day of work and not have it count against my vacation? Hmmmm, doesn't seem like much of a decision to me...
I've been beading up a storm lately, so my PIF people will hopefully see their packages by the end of the week or early next week! YAY for me!!! (*UPDATE* - packages were mailed on Wednesday, June 18!) Double YAY for me!!! :D
I went to OKC for a short visit (whirlwind trip?) since my brother was getting married. The wedding was really beautiful and it was really cool that my dad was able to perform the ceremony. I guess that's one of the benefits of being a bishop? After all the stuff earlier this year, we were unsure if he would be able to do it. Not because of any problems, but if it was decided he needed to be released from his bishoply duties... It was nice to see everyone again, even if it was only for a few days. And since it was just for fun and not for any sort of emergency!

I want pictures of your beaded beauties! I need inspiration.
Congratulations to Kevin! I didn't know he was getting married. I know he's had a bit of a rough time the last couple of years (has it been that long, or do I have my dates confused?) and he deserves to be happy.
Definitely don't ruin a perfectly good weekend with a big test -- that's what weekdays are for.
I haven't taken any pictures lately of my beaded creations! Any pictures I take don't do them justice, since the lighting in the house is terrible. I need to try taking pictures outside, but it's waaaaaaaaay too hot for that these days!!! Heat index today was 100+ - and it's only June... :(
The creations for my PIF people are already sealed, addressed and ready for the post office! Sorry... I browse around jewelry sites for inspiration...and sometimes I just start randomly matching up beads from my collection. I guess I'm not much help, am I?
Great updates! Congrats on your family wedding,t hat's pretty special that your dad was able to do that. And yes, save those weekends for studyless fun!
