It should come as no surprise to anyone that reads this blog that I am all about the shoes!! And when this topic came up for TAT, I had to join in the fun! :) Anyway, I am one of *those* people that have a knack for organizing. My secrets for organizing shoes are shoe boxes from The Container Store, see here. They are expensive, but worth it! See how great they look...
My other shoe storage (for shoes I wear often) is an over-door hanging shoe bag...it keeps the shoes off the floor and makes them easier for me to put away! :)
Also...not to be left out...the cutest darn shoes of them all!!!

It's obvious that you're one of those people who has the right shoes to go with every outfit. I have the right shoes to go with exactly two outfits in my entire wardrobe. I clearly need to hire you as my shoe consultant.
I consider myself to be a better-than-average organizer, but I've always known that you're an organizing genius. You should teach classes.

Your shoe closet is a thing of beauty!!!!! I love it!!! I own over a 100 pairs myself, so I get it. I have them all in their boxes, stacked, with the names/descriptions on the outside.
I once had my cellphone message copy Carrie's from Sex and the City, She had two great ones.
"I'm shoe shopping."
and
"I'm not home, but my shoes are."
i loved them!
